Oldsmobiles,Then, Now and Forever......
The LI & NYC Oldsmobile Club has a dedicated membership whose purpose is to maintain the integrity of the futuristic vision created by Ransom Eli Olds over 100
years ago.
Its members celebrate this manufacturer of timeless vehicles by actively attending monthly meetings, joining together in fellowship for holiday parties, picnics and cruises in their treasured
collectible Oldsmobiles.
This club and its large membership hold its biggest celebration traditionally on the first Sunday in May, and publically displays their prized vehicles at the annual Spring Dustoff. This car show has
been a major showcase of collectible vehicles on Long Island about 30 years. The attendance of show vehicles ranges from the early century through the war years, continues through the fabulous 50's
and proudly displays the muscle cars of the 60's and 70's. The automobiles of the 80's and 90's show the contrast between the earliest vehicles and display the current technologies that are available
to the American consumer.
All admirers of Oldsmobiles, regardless of ownership, are invited to join this organization and actively participate in the meetings and events.
